Léa Bigot studied political sciences at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux and environment and resources management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She started her professional career in the field of development cooperation in Mauritania and then worked for the French Embassy in Vietnam. As a Getidos fellow from June till September 2011 Léa supported the case study on the social entrepreneur Roberto Epple. 2012-2014 Léa worked for the consulting company MicroEnergy International GmbH with foci on West Africa and Southeast Asia. 2014-15 worked in the context of the CRESSI project as a coordinator of European youth partnerships for the Big Jump Challenge. Currently Léa works for the GIZ - and continues to support the further development of our youth river action network!
